Bio

This is my second year serving as a Director on the Executive, and I am excited to bring the same level of enthusiasm as Vice President. I strongly believe the future of our profession is rooted in the education of the public and other Health Care fields.

Since 1998, I knew that I needed to be deeply involved in spreading my passion for Fitness in the Health and Wellness Industry. I have been teaching Group Fitness classes and Personal Training for 12years and counting! In 2002, I completed my Honours degree in Human Kinetics (Kinesiology) at Saint Francis Xavier University, playing a large role in the Athletic Therapy Department as a Student Therapist with Varsity Athletics. After a year of post-graduate teaching in Anatomy and Physiology, I moved on to pursue a Diploma in Massage Therapy from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

It is with great pleasure that I get to share my tools and knowledge of fitness, rehabilitation and recovery on a daily basis to any and all that I encounter in my travels. When not in my massage clinic, you can find me teaching various classes (including Zumba) at New World Fitness on Topsail Road, or at the park chasing after my very energetic little girl, Charlotte Mae. I believe she has definitely inherited my spirit for Fitness and play!
